The Deep Storage Unit (DSU) is a block added by the MineFactory Reloaded mod. A storage unit that can hold up to 2,000,000,000 of one type of item and preserves the items stored when removed. The input and output sides can be configured in the GUI. It is also possible for a DSU to be extended and retracted by a Tinkers' Construct Drawbridge, however, upon retraction into the Drawbridge inventory, all items within the DSU will be lost.

Deep Storage Unit has no known uses in crafting.

Known issues [edit]

• Because of integer limitations, the maximum number of items a DSU can safely store is 2,147,483,647 (2^31-1). If this number is exceeded and the DSU is picked up, the number will turn to its negative counterpart ending up in item loss. If the DSU is not removed after exceeding the limit, it is possible to store an additional 126 items for a total of 2,147,483,773 items.
